Design Manager
Celect Services Ltd is looking for a competent electrician who wishes to
develop their skills into design, estimating and general technical support
within a successful privately owned business with established clients within the
Modular Building and
off-site construction market sectors.
The ideal candidate will have several
years’ experience in electrical installations and be qualified to at least 16th
edition but preferably 17th edition wiring regulations.
To carry out their daily role they will require basic computer knowledge and be
competent in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook based e-mail.
The
following skills and experience will be advantageous but not critical as
training will be given:-
·
Basic electrical loading calculations
·
Lighting design
·
Basic cable sizing
·
Basic CAD knowledge (AutoCAD 2004 or newer)
The successful candidate will be offered support and training in the following:-
AutoCAD
2011
Training in Lighting design calculations and software
Training in Electrical design calculations
Testing & certification
Estimating
The
successful candidate will possess strong drive, good communication skills and be
able to work within a team during times of extreme pressure.
The
nature of this role and our client base requires travel away from the office and
overnight stays.

Electrical Qualifying Manager
We
have a great opportunity for an experienced NICEIC Qualifying Manager -
Electrical – based from our offices at St Neots, Cambs with regular travel
throughout the UK. – salary dependant on experience.
Having secured some exciting projects we have an
opening for an experienced electrically biased, commercially aware NICEIC
Qualifying Manager - to help deliver those projects and become part of our team.
About the Role
·
Carrying out electrical testing and inspection.
·
Day-to-day running of multiple projects, programming of engineers, sites,
creation of site programmes.
·
Creation & submission of method statements & risk assessments
·
Liaising with Managing Directors regarding operational decisions, overseeing
office staff, including administration department, project managers and
technical checking department.
·
Regular liaison with clients.
·
Site
surveys and quotation of works.
·
Management of on-going works from initial quotation through to project
completion including on site management of supervisors and the companies
engineers
The successful candidate will preferably have minimum 2-3 years NICEIC
Qualifying Management experience and will be experienced with Amtech software.
